AFTERCARE & FAQs

Here are some aftercare tips for your new tattoo:

Remove the bandage after 1-2 hours.
Wash 3-4 times daily with soap and warm water.
Apply antibiotic ointment to keep tattoo moist.
Do not re-bandage. Allow tattoo to breathe.
No swimming or sun exposure for 2 weeks.
DO NOT PICK OR SCRATCH YOUR NEW TATTOO.

Dos and Donts

DO keep work in mind when choosing a location on your body for a tattoo.
DO know it will hurt.
DO keep in mind that original designs are always better.
DO ask questions - tattoo parlors can be intimidating places. Speak up!

DON'T get tattooed with your girlfriend/boyfriend's name.
DON'T have anything done in unsanitary conditions.
DON'T get a tattoo on a budget. They usually end up small and you'll likely regret it.
DON'T get drunk or high before getting a tattoo or piercing.

From Shirley Street, take a left onto Mackey Street.
Turn right on Palmdale Avenue.
Turn right on Alexander Street and we are in a two-story building immediately on your left. Look for us on the second floor.

Timeless Tattoo is a family-run business.

Cecil Roberts got his first tattoo at the age of 19. He learned the art of tattooing in Cincinnati, Ohio and opened Timeless Tattoo in 1994, the first tattoo studio in the Bahamas.

He has tattooed over 10,000 people and likes Jack Rudy's style. You can contact him by sending an email to cecil at timelesstattoobahamas dot com.

Lisa Roberts became interested in learning the art of tattooing from hanging around her brother and the studio. "I saw all of the interesting designs and the people he met and that is when I decided to join him in his venture of body art."

She learned the basics from Cecil and trained under the world famous Mouse Massimiano in Maryland. She has been a tattoo artist since 1996.

Lisa specializes in doing black and grayscale work because it's more realistic and shows better on most Bahamians' skin. She counts Tom Renshaw as one of her artistic influences. You can contact her by sending an email to lisa at timelesstattoobahamas dot com.
